Electrical resistance alloysVZPS - Electrical Resistance Alloys
Electrical resistance alloys are widely applied in electrical heaters, particularly NiCr. Nichrome is nickel and chromium alloy which is commonly used in production of resistance wire because of its high resistivity and stable anti-oxidation properties at temperatures up to 1250°C that’s why resistance wires are well-suited for service in extreme environments where they are subjected to pressure and heat. Vladimir Plant of Precision Alloys has been manufacturing resistance alloys and heating alloys from its foundation. Our strength is making wires, strips, ribbon and foil, including NiCr alloys and Fe-Cr-Al alloys.

Produced materials

  • NiCr 80 20 (UNS N06003 / 2.4869) – industrial furnaces (upto 1200°C), electric cooking equipment, precision resistors.
  • NiCr 70 30 (UNS N06008 / 2.4658) – industrial furnaces (upto 1250°C) with alternating oxidizing/reducing atmosphere, precision resistors.
  • NiCr 60 15 (UNS N06004 / 2.4767) – industrial furnaces (upto 1150°C), electrically heated equipment, high-resistance and potentiometer resistors.
  • NiCr 30 20 (1.4860) – industrial furnaces (upto 1050°C), electrically heated equipment, high-resistance and potentiometer resistors.
