Quality control and testing

Vladimir Plant of Precision Alloys operates a Quality Management System, which complies with the requirements of both EN ISO 9001:2008 and a wide range of client companies, and numerous other organizations. Many of our key customers operate at the forefront of technology and our success is driven by our commitment to providing them with products that meet or exceed their expectations.

Quality control and testing

Quality is controlled and tested in the lab in accordance with the specifications or special customer requirements - from receipt of the initial material to delivery, as well as in all critical stages of production. The required mechanical and physical characteristics and dimensions are checked and product is only released if the specifications are met. Test certificates according to the EN 10204 3.1 are established systematically on the basis of customer-specific requirements.

The testing laboratories are ready for:
  • all NDT testing capabilities including radiography, magnetic particle inspection, liquid penetrant inspection, and ultrasound. 
  • full metals testing capabilities including chemical analysis, mechanical testing, metallography, grain size analysis, and corrosion testing. 

Our modern test laboratory equipped to measure all relevant specifications will benefit from quicker and easier test set-ups and changeovers offering even greater flexibility.

All raw material used by Vladimir Plant of Precision Alloys is fully certified and traceable back to the primary source.

Vladimir Plant of Precision Alloys employs professionally qualified technical staff experienced in metallurgy, quality assurance and engineering. The company is thus able to assist our customers with technical support regarding all aspects of material selection, fabrication and usage.
